Families

Families with children are welcome at Huka Lodge and you will find their needs are well provided for. The Lodge Room suite and both the private cottages are particularly suited to family holidays.

Children under five years of age are complimentary when sharing a room with their parents. One child is permitted per room. Escort Rooms are also available to accommodate children.

Tariffs applicable to children are established on an individual basis as every family has individual needs in terms of room style, dining etc. Contact Reservations and they will be happy to assist you regarding a tariff.

Please note that children under 16 years of age are unable to attend pre-dinner drinks in the main Lodge or dine in the dining room. We offer a large variety of private dining venues for families and are able to arrange baby sitters for younger children, so parents are able to dine separately.
