Day 1 Welcome
Arrive at Huka Lodge to a warm welcome. Make yourself at home, check in to your luxury suite and discover the lodge’s lounging areas, restaurant, gardens and outdoor facilities, all with a view to the rolling Waikato River.
Day 1 Evening
Meet your fellow guests and enjoy sunset drinks on the outdoor terrace overlooking the river or in The Orchard. Gather for a welcome dinner in the lodge restaurant, and relax by the fire in the lounge for a digestif.
Day 2 Morning
Head out to explore the 17-acres of established gardens and join the short riverside walk to the Huka Falls via the Thermal Spa Walk.
Day 2 Afternoon
Join local operator Chris Jolly on a scenic tour of Lake Taupō on a luxury cruiser, a wonderful way to take in views of the spectacular mountain-lined backdrop and explore secluded bays with optional trout fishing and gourmet lunch.
Day 2 Evening
Enjoy sunset drinks in the lounge or gather outside on the terrace to watch the light cast golden over the river, before a degustation dinner in the sumptuous surrounds of the main lodge or one of the unique dining locations dotted around the property.
Day 3 Morning
This morning, join an optional scenic heli flight, opt for a half-day round of golf or learn the patience and skill of traditional fly fishing for a chance to hook a prized trout.
