Condé Nast Traveler (US) votes Huka Lodge one of the Best Resorts in Australasia

Huka Lodge has once again rated highly in the Condé Nast Traveler (US) Magazine’s Readers’ Choice Survey, awarded the sixth highest score in the category of Best Resorts in Australasia and the second highest in New Zealand.

With over a million votes from nearly 77,000 readers, the popular annual campaign began in 1988 and rates readers’ favourite cities, islands, hotels, resorts and cruise lines from across the world, requiring them to score candidates across a range of categories. Criteria relevant to the Resorts category for which Huka Lodge was recognised comprise: Rooms, Service, Location, Food/Dining, Design, Activities/Facilities and Value (a new category introduced this year).

The news come just weeks after Huka Lodge was award by sister publication, Condé Nast Traveller (UK) Magazine as the Best Hotel in Australasia and the South Pacific in their internationally respected Readers’ Travel Awards.

Huka Lodge is a sister property to Dolphin Island, Fiji and Grande Provence Estate, South Africa. All three properties comprise The Huka Retreats and are the vision of their founder, entrepreneur Alex van Heeren.
