Reservations Policy
- Tariffs are exclusive of a Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5%
- Included in the tariff is accommodation, full country breakfast, pre-dinner drinks, five-course dinner, Taupo Airport transfers if required and full use of all Huka Lodge facilities.
- Tariffs quoted are in New Zealand dollars and charged on a per person, per night basis (with the exception of the Owner’s Cottage and Alan Pye Cottage tariffs which are charged on a per room, per night basis).
- Tariffs are subject to confirmation at the time of reservation.
- Tariffs for children and for the use of Escort Rooms, are available on request.
- Between 20 December 2010 – 05 January 2011, a minimum stay of two nights is required.
- A surcharge of NZ$400.00 + GST per person is required for the 24 December 2010 – 31 December 2010 and the 24 December 2010/2011 - 31 December 2010/2011.
- Children five years and under stay free of charge, when staying with their parents in the same room. Only one child permitted per room.

Reservations/Payment
- A Proforma Invoice will be sent out six weeks prior to guest(s) arrival, except between 20 December 2010 – 31 January 2011 when a Proforma Invoice will be sent out 90 days prior to guest(s) arrival.
- The account must be settled in full 30 days prior to arrival, except between 20 December 2010 – 31 January 2011 when account must be settled in full, 60 days prior to guest(s) arrival.
Cancellations
In the event that Huka Lodge is unable to replace a cancelled reservation, the following applies:
- 25% of the total cost will be charged, if a reservation is cancelled between 7 and 30 days prior to arrival.
- Should cancellation be received seven days prior to arrival, there will be a 100% charge for every room night cancelled.
- “No shows” will be charged at 100% of the applicable rate, for the total stay.
- Between 20 December 2010 – 31 January 2011, a cancellation made 90 days prior to arrival includes a 25% cancellation fee for each night cancelled. A cancellation within the same period made 60 days prior to arrival incurs a 100% cancellation fee.
