Cancellation policy

  • 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST) is applicable on all rates.

  • Inclusions: Pre-dinner drinks and canapés,  a five-course dinner (menu changes daily), accommodation and full country breakfast. Use of all Lodge facilities and return Taupo Airport transfers are included.

  • Check-in is at 2pm, check-out at 11am.

  • Rates are quoted in New Zealand dollars and charged on a per person, per night basis.

  • Rates are subject to confirmation at the time of reservation.

  • Children five years and under stay free of charge, when staying with their parents in the same suite. Only one child permitted per suite.

  • Rates for children and for the use of Single Connecting Ensuites, are available on request.


  • Cancellations made between 90-31 days prior to arrival will incur a transaction fee of NZ$250.00

In the event that we are unable to replace a cancelled reservation, the following policies apply:
  • Cancellations made between 30-8 days prior to arrival incur a 50% cancellation fee for each night cancelled.

  • Cancellations made 7 days or less prior to arrival, and ‘no shows’, all incur a 100% cancellation fee for each night cancelled.

Private Party Reservations (five or more suites)

  • Reservations for five or more suites, for the same dates, will be treated as a Private Party Reservation and Private Party Policies will apply.
